So as you can imagine, our life in the hospital is really busy. Connor is sure doing his part to keep us that way. He's constantly feeding and he'll be feeding with Lorna for up to an hour sometimes and then he'll take a 30-45minute break, and then he's hungry again. We broke down last night and when we sent him to the nursery over night, we let them give him formula when he got hungry so that we could get some sleep. We thought he would eat a couple times, but he ate 4 times between 12:15 and 5:45. He must really take after dad! We realized that the first day when he just sleeps a lot and doesn't need attention was just a farce. We've really moved on to the 24/7 care that Connor needs.
While Connor is learning to live in the outside world, we're doing out best to learn from every nurse and lactation consultant and take baby steps of our own. Every experience for us is a learning experience. The lactation consultant says one thing and the nurse does something different, and we of course have to figure out what's best for our little Connor. When Connor is sleeping, which seems like hardly ever, we'll try to make the best of our time, seeing friends, eating, asking questions, and of course sleeping! Lorna's recovery from the c-section is remarkable. She's up and walking around and not suffering any nausea from the medication and is only taking Motrin when I guess most women are at least on Vicadin. We're not supposed to be able to go home until tomorrow(Sunday), but we're cleared for release today, and are thinking about going home already!
We'll post more pictures when he can go 10 seconds without either a nipple or pacifier in his mouth before making a fuss!

Officially parents in training. No sleep...I thought all babies do are eat, sleep, and poop! It sounds like Connor's got the eating down pat. Congrats!!! I'll be waiting for more pictures.
