After Mommy called around for some advice on the next step, we went in into her office for my first real dental procedure. Good thing she's a dentist and she knew what to do. Aunty Al and Uncle Brian held me down as my Daddy helped hold my head and Mommy do the procedure. I protested with my loudest voice I could muster, but they were determined. I tried to close my mouth to keep them out, but Daddy squeezed my face blowfish style so that if I tried to close, I'd bite my cheeks. After about 15 minutes we were done, and I was exhausted. I passed out on the way home and then proceeded to sleep for 2 1/2 hours after such a big morning.
I succeeded in rearranging my smile with my modified front tooth. If I'm lucky, my two front teeth will eventually fall out and I'll be way ahead of the curve on that Christmas song. Mommy and Daddy are hoping that they stay in, though. They are no fun.
Later that afternoon, Mommy and Daddy decided to go ahead with a haircut as planned, but this time THEY were doing the cutting in an effort to save money. I struggled and protested as loud as possible. Since they cut it outside, the neighbors probably thought I was getting abused or something. They did their best, though. I got away with only a couple of knicks and one rat bite. Good thing hair grows back!
Today started off like any other Sunday with a trip to the farmers market and the like. During my second nap, though I didn't feel like sleeping, though, so I just played in my crib for about an hour. Daddy kept checking the monitor and saw that I wasn't getting to close to napping. I thought I was being sneaky in planning my escape, but Daddy kind of thought that I might be up to no good since I was using my leverage in the corner. When the big BOOM was heard from below. Daddy sprinted to my side. Of course by then I was already half sitting up on the floor beside my crib... crying. Unfortunately I wasn't able to knocked the two teeth out, and only bruised the left half of my face, from nose to cheek.
Some of you may have read about my escape from the pack and play a month and a half ago, but now I'm out of the crib! Mommy and Daddy can't stop me!
Daddy will be at work tomorrow, so that will be one less person to watch me! Mommy better watch out!
