Friends and Family

The biggest reason for heading to Japan was to visit friends and family. Daddy's brother, uncle Curtis was nice enough to open up his apartment, take vacation from work, and show us around when he could.
My cousin Leina and I really hit it off now that we can play with each other. We went to the Kiddieland store in Omotesando. We had to show our love to the giant stuffed animals in the store! We could care less that they were bigger than us, but we tried to carry them away anyway!
Daddy got to go out to dinner with a group of his high school friends. Uncles Akito, Greg, and Yuji live there, and Uncle Ryan just happened to be visiting at the same time from Seattle.


We got together for brunch so that we could all see each other, too!Here we are with Uncle Greg and his girlfriend Makiko.

Uncle Yuji, Auntie Miho, and Aina. I might have to get to know her better someday in the future. We got to go visit Uncle Dave, Auntie Shinobu, and their 3 week old son, Joa, too.
