Today we took the train to Kamakura. We visited the Daibutsu and also the money washing shrine. The shrin is in the mountains above the town of Kamakura. We had to climb a good hill to make it, but luckily for Mommy, I actually let Daddy carry me up the hill. I've been going through a clingy stage where Mommy MUST carry me. Mommy thinks I'm teething, but only I really know.

Greetings From Kamakura!
We made it to Japan! The flight over was long, but bearable. Mommy and Daddy tank their lucky stars that there are individual monitors on JAL that kept me busy as much as possible. I'm still getting used to the time change, though, getting up at 3 in the morning is rough on Mommy and Daddy.

Legend has it that the money washed at the shrine will find it's way back to you. Mommy and Daddy made sure to do their share of washing!
